How to get there

Find us on the map with this Google Earth link. We are at Plot 37605 in block 8, near Livingstone Kolobeng College. You can recognise the place by the barrel shaped white steel roofs and the abundance of trees on the plots and the logs at the entrance gate. From the airport you can call us and we can arrange a pickup with a local cab for the prices above. From the central bus rank catch the Block 8 route 2 minibus taxis and ask them to drop you at the strange looking place near Livingstone Kolobeng College. If you get lost just get to that College and call us to direct you or pick you up. Other minibus routes also pass nearby including all the BBS Mall- Mogoditshane routes and the BBS Mall- Game City routes. Just ask them to drop you near the Barclays Circle.

If you are coming by car from town then find the Barclays Circle on the Western bypass which is the junction South of the airport turnoff and north of the Botswana Television complex circle. From this circle turn off the Western bypass into block 8 (West). Then take the first right (At the large signboard for Livingstone Kolobeng College) and then first right again where you will see the place immediately on the left.

What is there to do?

Visit Botswanacraft within 10mins walk across the road to see their range of crafts or to eat at their beautiful restaurant. Take a walk around or up Mmopane hill in a village about 15 minutes drive to the West close to the airport. Walk up Kgale hill right in the city and get a view over the city and dam. Rock climbers ask us about the climbing routes on Kgale Hill and check out the online climbing route guide. Go to the main mall and browse the street vendors wares and check out the traditional foods, beans and dried leaves on sale. Have a coffee at the President hotel overlooking the main mall square. Go to the national museum near the main mall. Eat out at a number of good restaurants in town or go to the movies. Get that much needed local info for your DIY trip to the rest of Botswana and get kitted up in the well stocked shops or arrange fully organised tours with the knowledgeable local agents.
